A lot of great advice is already given however I feel that most of the advice are only working if you already have traffic.

I agree with the statements which were mentioned in this thread. One thing should have been said here - organising competitions. It allows you to increase sales by setting the rules you want. For example: if somebody wants to join, they must share your post. There are a lot of models, but by this, you can increase your visibility, and more people will hear about you.
