Well depends on the business industry, for political leaders, Twitter is Good; LinkedIn to network with business owners, and so on.

Some funnels should be targeting specific age groups independently. Especially with social traffic sources, but it's a good policy overall for most traffic sources. You wouldn't target young people for elderly care anymore than you would target the elderly for essay services.

Split testing is incredibly important and needs to be applied to more than just age demographics.
