I'd like a pub shed with a Union Jack on it. That used to be our flag, too - I miss it.

I've done a couple of posts.

This seems to have got me some more traffic.

I have stuck a 468 x 60 banner next to the logo. I have no idea if this will make me any money.

I have still made $0

I also updated the background wood image to a horizontal wood effect rather than a vertical one.

Love the interview/featured shed posts, great idea. Are you going to continue them? Any chance of adding a way to share individual posts?

Re your new topics, I think they're good, although How to Pick a Theme might be better.

Go in-depth with your posts, make them informative how-to's, if possible.

Have you checked your stats on SimilarWeb? Your bounce rate is nice and low.

I've seen it done both ways. I'd say to either stick to the same every time, or mix it up every time. One or the other consistently.
