I always believe that spinning is a terrible method for SEO. If you write your own interesting articles then you can attract people to your site through that interest. Its not all about placing keywords in repetetive text
I believe that you want to save all your docs in the same folder, rather than having a sub-folder. I am not an expert but I think that is what you do to upload correctly

Ezinearticles are very particular on grammer but there are a lot of other article sites that are dofollow and dont have the same grammer restrictions. Try looking on Google for "dofollow article submission"
