Hey community,

I was wondering what your guys' take is on this.

After how many click and no conversions do you say, "fk it", call it a dud campaign, and kill it all together?

I mean, if you get no conversions after a certain amount of money spent?

No conversions after a certain amount of clicks?

If been testing out a few offers to see how it'll do and after about 200 or so clicks and I get no conversions, I think the offer sucks and test something else.

Is that too soon to tell?

When do you go on and test another offer?

I'd love some professional advice on this.

49,022 pops later (shit the bed!)

I like the number 576 myself --statistically that is usually pretty valid. ± 3% maybe
1636605468961.png

The hard part is finding what may be the true numbers --I just spent 3 hrs on $90 worth of ads --and my headache is now going away :(
That took 20 hrs of my time at least overall (the campaign) +another 30 hrs on creatives (pops) --time is money to me!

CAC means Customer Acquisition Cost (estimated)
The average payout is $400- a few thousand per customer (internet gambling) so I may need to spend $300 in ads to get the first sale maybe
And that is a big if as I don't own the programs and they may be shaving IDK for sure.

Bottom line my 320 clicks to the programs may be in reality only 60 WTF that is maybe $800 to find out if this is legit
--this should produce 5 conversions if I am lucky.

This is my math --yours may differ with your specific situation.
Everyone's a liar until I see proof --cynicism is your friend in this business.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk :p

Hey!

Thanks for your replies.

Well, I'm talking about adult cpa marketing seeing as how this is an adult marketing section of the forum.

I'm talking about offers that pay out anywhere from $2.00 to $4.00.

By "clicks" I meant clicks from buying traffic. As in, I'll buy 333 clicks @ $0.06 CPC @ $20/day and still not have a single conversion.

that obviously depends on the profit you will make, if you spend 100 dollars with nothing, and you only get ah few dollars each sale, it's garbage even if the next round of users buy something, you still aren't profiting, it will take too many clicks to get ah sale

Ads are ads
Gambling and 'adult' like porn and cams are all vice ... pick your poison.
Dating is generally considered lightweight on the borderline.
Same shit different flavor.

My current pop campaign is at 40702 clicks

I ran 50K clicks this week and 50% of them were fraud click bots or just inferior junk traffic.
Learn to read your server logs and study the IP addresses and the faked user agents if you want to know why.
Ad brokers (networks) are full of excuses. Does your offer suck are their problems with the back end payment processing?

What GEO matters too. US traffic is a lot more that .06 and it's loaded with bots and fraud --that is where the money is --you can buy 2nd or 3rd tier for that. Is the offer written right for the users language and dialect (or colloquial) that can be a reason with translations often.

Push ads are a lot of bots and error clicks. 330 clicks may only be 60 or 70 real people <<<probably the real issue. try 600 clicks try 1000 if you think the offer may be viable.

Ad networks sell a lot of garbage traffic with some good traffic --that's the truth.

I force a page hit then record the clicks out to the affiliate programs these 4 clicks just cost me $2 in traffic or $0.50/ea (after the filtering)
and i didn't make shit however my lifetime revenue payout is maybe $160 to $2,000+ --life is a gamble. I don't think the tiny payout of $2 to $4 is enoug unless you can find some way to do a very large volume. What ad network are you using?

If 1/2 your clicks are fake or junk that's now $0.12/click you will lose some in the 'internet blackhole' the shave or slippage or people just close the window and leave the page--they bounce and are not counted.

I really can't know because I don't control the offer's/(the point of sale) server.

If you are serious you need a g_tag (google analytics on the sale page to access and see how your traffic behaves -- that's called affinity toward the offer. There are so many reasons why the sale is not made --sometimes it is and the affiliate is just shaved (cheated out of his money) that is why you should at least match up the clicks with the affiliate program's stats and generate a unique customer id that tracks that customer all the way to a theoretical sale.

I think you are just slapping cow pies against the barn wall and hoping some will stick. I suggest you get serious and do some follow through on your funnel and look for the problems --starting with your traffic --and doing some math and understanding your CAC KPI's.

The clicks and the follow through to see if they arrived 100% did in this case because I am filtering out most of the bad traffic
I run click logs on my server what the ad network says is total BS 30% to 50% is overruns and fraud traffic is commonplace.

It the way the internet works and for the most part the sellers of traffic are not the doers of evil --it's in how the traffic is acquired and
all the ways it is possible to defraud in the digital playing field. You may be getting RTB remnant traffic. Mant traffic brokers/networks will buy that for fill and sell it cheap to the low bidder (or any bidder :D )

Example: a website becomes a publisher and hires a bot net to click the shit out of the ads on his website and then they split the revenue generated. Eventually they get shut off but they will just set up a new site and do it to another network. In the end of the day you get screwed and the ad network gets a bad reputation. Look I have been doing internet sales since 2002 20yrs now seen most of it twice.

Good luck, ;)

but if people are clicking, with no conversions, then something isn't selling them, or they don't want to buy right now, i seen with click bank products, their sale pages must just suck

or they are low quality clicks our outright fraudulent click bots --10% -70 % of clicks are fake when you buy network traffic. TRUTH.

If you get you 'clicks' from search engines maybe 80% are real the rest are the scammers and scammers clicking the SERPs to get one leg up on their competitors. Use semrush or ahrefs LMAO ...

I used to analyze well over 100,000 file requests a day for a large business from our server logs --I am not pulling this shit out of my ass ..pfft
well then, you need to be more creative with your keywords, you must be copy and pasting stuff that script kiddies do...if you are buying traffic, and see 70% of things are bots and paying the for the clicks, then you need to contact the website admins, and then ah lawyer if they aren't cooperative

I feel like this would be super helpful... if I knew how to read the image =/

... but from what I can make out, thanks so much for your input!

It's a CPL campaign... not CPS.

Easy guys, no need to argue. I'm just simply wondering when you would see a conversion (CPL), after 100 clicks? 500 clicks? $1,000 clicks?...

Because I'm thinking, minus the bot traffic, if I were to have 100 clicks and no one even submitted an email address to the offer, I should find a better offer.

Mate !
The thing you saying has not a large number of conversion ratio ! clicks buyed on CPC model mostly are useless as they are not targeted and CPC and CPM are the models that are less worthy in my point of view don't know about others ! It is like just wasting money both as an advertiser or publisher but still if you are going with it try to go with different campaigns and see where it converts better :)

Good luck to the winners ...

Pop traffic (@_@) you have to really know how to filter it
each click out is costing $0.7733
the "money shot" the click out from my pop is 1:535
the payout revshare is 25% to 35% of the money they will lose gambling less the monies won ---maybe $100 - $10,000 per customer that signsup and deposits. so $25 - $3,000 per sale

Your results will differ with low barrier offers under $100 cost to the customer.
Good luck to the winners ...

When traffic networks are hiding the real web domains behind anonymized site IDs 1234584.9846 you cannot really target traffic.
So bid low until you find the better source sites --then white list those sites only. After some days your returned traffic will decline. Repeat the process again.

Down side of this is, if you value your time; this is a large drain on your resources. Traffic networks count pennies I count dollars ...
Can you help me out with more details, maybe it would be helpful

When you will see a conversion?
It depends what offers are you using, where are you buying traffic from?
I usually run adult dating offers on banner and in push format. (Cpm price)
Banner usually I get a soi conversion out of 10-20 clicks
In push out 40-50 clicks.
Most offers/prelanders are already tested on different nerworks.

Hey community,

After how many click and no conversions do you say, "fk it", call it a dud campaign, and kill it all together?

I mean, if you get no conversions after a certain amount of money spent?

No conversions after a certain amount of clicks?

If been testing out a few offers to see how it'll do and after about 200 or so clicks and I get no conversions, I think the offer sucks and test something else.

Is that too soon to tell?

When do you go on and test another offer?

I'd love some professional advice on this.

Kill the campaign if after 10x the PO you dont have a conversion. E.g. your PO is $2 you have spent $20 and not a single lead - stop it and test another.

I get conversions every day
not rocket science
there are trending products everywhere
and genius content strategies
lead the horses to the water
and they will drink

It depends, where you are advertising, on Google, social media? It also can vary based on the niche you are targeting and how competitive your market is. Also, the question is what kind of keywords you are using in the campaign, the ones with high or low monthly search volume. The thing is that some networks require some time to pass in order to start showing results and for you to start converting, as they go through the learning phase to see how to optimize your campaign the best. Either way, I don't recommend giving up, maybe just changing some tactic.
