I come across a question which i would like to discuss with all the members over here at DP. I came across the question about the time wishes which is a greeting with the words like :-
Good Morning
Good After Noon
Good Evening
Good Night
These are the words generally used as a professional time wishes on meeting someone.
Question: Suppose the time is 2:00 Pm and i met with one of my senior officer can i time wish him with Good Morning??
I have heard about when leaving for the day we can say Good Night no matter what the time is. So like wise when i am meeting my officer in the afternoon but it's the first time in the day so can this be accepted or I have to greet him by "Good After Noon" as per the time.
Please tell me the appropriate time wishes.
