Well, adult has been clubbed to death and the early day goldrush was over 10 years ago. I would say you are definitely going to be late to that party.
Most of the adult content can now be watched for free anyway, which is why a lot of the adult actors get paid a lot less than not that long ago. From an affiliate's perspective, this means very low commissions and to be fair - if you can get something for free, there is no need to buy it anymore like you used to.
Stick to more mainstream markets and you'll do well
