How to scrap emails?

Do you mean "scrape" emails? This is a rather passé. This is not a common practice today as many people in Tier 1 and Tier 2 countries have been convicted of crimes in parallel with scraping and using those emails. In todays environment, it is a really stupid idea!

Drawbacks and Risks:
  • Legal Issues:
    • Many jurisdictions have privacy laws that prohibit scraping emails without consent, such as GDPR in the EU or CAN-SPAM in the US.
    • Violating these laws can result in fines, legal action, incarceration, and damage to reputation.
    • Some websites explicitly prohibit scraping in their terms of service.
  • Ethical Concerns:
    • Collecting email addresses without consent is seen as an invasion of privacy.
    • Using scraped lists for unsolicited emails is considered spam and can harm your sender reputation and email deliverability.
  • Low-Quality Leads:
    • Scraped lists often contain inactive or inaccurate email addresses, resulting in higher bounce rates and lower engagement.
    • Leads generated through scraping may not be genuinely interested in your products or services.
  • Damage to Reputation:
    • Engaging in unethical email scraping practices can harm your business's reputation and customer trust.
  • Security Risks:
    • Scraped email lists can be used by malicious actors for phishing campaigns, malware distribution, or other cybercrimes.
In summary, while email scraping can offer some potential benefits, it's crucial to be aware of the legal and ethical risks, and the potential for low-quality leads and damage to your reputation. If you choose to engage in any form of data scraping, ensure that you adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, and follow best practices to minimize potential risks and ethical implications.

i personally use octoparse, but only for sending job apply not for email marketing !

You can use ChatGPT or any other AI tools like Claued to make a tool to do so. Otherwise, hiring a freelance is another good option.

can anyone help me pls
Hey OP, quick reality check on email scraping—it's a minefield in 2025. GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and even site TOS will slap you with fines, bans, or worse if you're blasting unsolicited emails. Scraped lists? Mostly junk—high bounces, zero engagement, and your sender rep tanks fast.
Better play: Build legit lists with opt-ins. Run FB/IG ads or content funnels offering freebies (e-com guides, lead magnets) in niches like health or finance. Tools like ConvertKit or Mailchimp handle the rest, and compliance keeps you scaling without drama.
I've pulled 10k+ subs this way on EU traffic—CR jumps 15-20% vs. shady methods. What's your vertical? Drop details if you want funnel tweaks. Stay white-hat, folks!

Good points on list quality, engagement and sender rep are everything.

One thing worth adding for anyone running dating or igaming traffic specifically: the bottleneck usually isn't the list-building strategy, it's the infrastructure. Even with solid opt-in lists, mainstream ESPs like Mailchimp or ConvertKit will eventually flag or ban the account in these verticals regardless of compliance. A simple affiliate link and you're out.

You will need to setup your own infra: dedicated IPs, servers, domains, deliverability monitoring etc. ...

It depends on why you're trying to scrape emails. If it's for marketing, I'd be careful because many websites prohibit it, and sending unsolicited emails can get you into legal or deliverability issues. If you're collecting contacts from your own customers or people who have given permission, it's better to use signup forms or export data from your CRM. There are scraping tools out there, but most public email addresses are either protected, outdated, or hidden to prevent spam. In my experience, building an email list through opt-ins takes longer, but the results are much better and more reliable.

It depends on what the emails are needed for. If its for lead generation or outreach, its usually better to use legal and permission based methods like business directories, networking platforms, contact forms or verified b2b data providers. This helps avoid compliance issues and generally results in higher-quality contacts.
