    PPC Alternatives

Maybe it depends on the content of the page. They may pay higher on some keywords and lower on others.

    PPC Alternatives

Has anyone tried Miva MC? I'm trying it out on a few of my pages and it seems to be quite good. Seem to be making more than I do with Adsense. They have fewer advertisers but their targeting is good.

    Announcing my arrival! *grins*

Now I understand (the inside joke). Bloody American spellings. Drive me crazy. Pronunciations too like erb(herb) and nitch(niche).

    Quality or Quantity

I usually go for directories with a high SERP. Links from these seem to hold more weight especially if they've been around a while.

    Google using semantics maybe?

lol. The z's replacing s's always irks me! It comes up so often too with word processors, search engines and other tools we use everyday. Grrr.

When will the next Google Update happen??

That little green meter does give you a lot of satisfaction when it goes up, but it's so meaningless now. I'd much rather see £'s in the bank.

    Tracking Google Clicks

Asrep.com Tracking for Adsense. Haven't tried it myself yet but sounds good.

Do you display Google Ads on your sites?

I use Adsense on some of my pages but prefer not to - am looking for better options. They don't pay enough ;)

    PR or traffic

Forget PR. Bring on SERPs! Show me the money!!! Unless of course you're trying to sell your site - that may be different. I've seen a lot of buyers who are obsessed with PR and base their valuation on that.

Google - Will they lose touch?

It is very automatic to say I'll Google it - but while the phrase may continue to be used, the association may change. People still use hoovering for vacuuming even if they use a vacuum cleaner that isn't a Hoover.

    Google at the gas pump

Who knows with Google. It is incredible how ubiquitous they've become - both online and offline. I can't see them disappearing anytime soon.

Google Adwords - Is it worth signing up?

You must analyze and try to improve your ads and understand the psychology or your clicks just won't convert. It's easy to lure in a lot of people who aren't that interested or were misled. It's hard to create highly targeted ads with high conversion rates.

Google Adwords - Is it worth signing up?

I've seen a few vouchers around the place too. With purchase of a Domain Name comes to mind. I think Adwords is an excellent tool if you put in the time to analyze the data. I lost quite a bit when I first started using it - and I was a tight-arse, not wanting to spend anything on advertising so...

    120 click for $3 wtf

I keep reading articles of webmasters saying their revenues keep dropping. Seems as though a lot of people are looking for alternatives. There are quite a few PPC companies around now though which is good news - there are options.

    Announcing my arrival! *grins*

I do live in the UK, yes. London actually. I don't really have anything I'd like to show off at the moment - everything's a constant work in progress ;)
