Do you display Google Ads on your sites?

With that said, I've made more with Yahoo Publisher Network ads than with
Google.

I`d try it myself only Yahoo still don`t accept publishers from outside the US.

I read that Yahoo are very strict when it comes to approving those wanting to sign up to their publisher program. Is this true?

I got YPN account about 2 years ago after waiting few month for approval.

There was a message from Yahoo while ago that no more publishers will be accepted till YPN is out of beta but I hear more and more people still getting accounts.

The point is that its now available outside US at all.

If Yahoo really wanted to complete with Google why not let go of their tight restrictions and compete properly

Agreed. With a company their size surely they have the infrastructure to be able to cope with expansion into the international market.

This is what usually happen to large companies, they become fat bloated and bugged down by procedure... that is why a leaner meaner company like Google is prospering much better

I think Yahoo could have a chance if they change some of their policies and promote further to the international community

I use Adsense on some of my pages but prefer not to - am looking for better options.
They don't pay enough
