What Infrastructure Are You Using For Gambling Email Traffic in 2026?

Hey everyone!
Over the last few months I’ve been spending a lot of time testing CRM(email) traffic in the gambling

What surprised me the most is that even relatively small email tests sometimes showed much stronger engagement and retention compared to some traditional paid traffic sources we work with.

The biggest issue so far has been infrastructure and deliverability. Most mainstream ESPs obviously don’t like casino traffic, so scaling becomes difficult very quickly even when the traffic quality itself looks promising.

Right now I’m trying to better understand what setups people are using in 2026 for gambling-friendly sending, especially on the email/SMS side.

Are most of you running self-hosted infrastructure at this point, or are there still ESP/platform solutions that work reliably for this niche?

Would be interesting to hear what’s currently working for others in this space.

I've noticed something similar. Email can perform surprisingly well when the list is clean and people have actually opted in. The hard part isn't getting opens or clicks, it's keeping everything running without deliverability becoming a constant headache. I know a few people who eventually switched to self-hosted setups because they got tired of accounts being limited or suspended, but that also comes with more maintenance. I'm still curious if there are any ESPs in 2026 that are genuinely gambling-friendly over the long term, or if self-hosting has basically become the only practical option for consistent scaling.

This has been a common challenge for a lot of gambling operators. From what’s being seen in 2026, many teams are leaning toward hybrid setups , using self hosted infrastructure for more control while relying on specialized tools for routing, warming and monitoring. The infrastructure matters, but deliverability usually comes down to the fundamentals domain reputation, list quality, segmentation and consistent sending practices. Getting those pieces right tends to have a much bigger impact than the choice of ESP alone.
