Traffic issues

Hello. I have a question regarding building trust and acquiring a target audience for an affiliate program offering products from the adult industry. I have a website under my own domain with a registered server, and access to the product is not a problem. The issue is real traffic, which translates into conversions. How should I start?

With no specifics on niche, traffic source, or margins, there’s nothing actionable to respond to. Acquisition costs and conversion economics determine viability—everything else is noise.

I have a question regarding building trust and acquiring a target audience for an affiliate program offering products from the adult industry.

Have you ever recruited affiliates before?

Have you ever been an affiliate marketer with a substantial success?

Do you know the standards of creatives, copy, niche development, list building, tracking, etc.?

Do you have a plan? A budget? Connections in the industry?

Right now the question is a bit too broad to give a tactical answer, especially in adult.

“Building trust” usually comes after you already have a working traffic source and basic funnel economics. At the start, the real question is where the first controlled traffic will come from and how you plan to test conversions.

Once you clarify the traffic source, GEO, budget range, and what role the site plays in the funnel, it becomes much easier to give concrete advice.

I completely understand, I’m just a beginner and I’m only now trying to figure out where the first controlled traffic should come from and where I should “present myself” to even see whether this works at all. Adult affiliate programs seem to be difficult, especially in situations where it’s done without enough skill — instead of building a base at the very beginning, everything falls apart.

Welcome to the "first efforts club" that every, EVERY, affiliate goes through. All of us, everyone of us, have had the same struggles in the beginning. You have to put the time and money into it to get where you finally have a stable system and income for offers and that means learning the basics. You have to do it.

My brother spent well over a half million dollars to become a doctor and it took him 12 years before he had his own practice. I spent less than a year and $3000 to start earning with a stable reliable business as an affiliate and within three years was earning more than my brother.

Dr.s, lawyers, and other professions require huge debt and investment whereas we as affiliates can do it in far less time and far less investment but still out earn them when we treat it like a business, stay in continuing education mode, and always taking action. The investment part these days is a bit higher than it was twenty years ago, but compared to college costs it is cheap for us to get started.
