Interesting how the new privacy laws are really turning Facebook and Google toward new tracking schemas.
As long as I can pass a *unique code" end to end, source to conversion --none of this matters (to me).
No 'pixels', No tracking cookies, No data transfer to a 3rd party.

That's actually the reason we've also created FB group that is just about facebook ad tracking and changes there - like no 'pixels', No tracking cookies, No data transfer to a 3rd party - as @Graybeard well-mentioned.
