@Graybeard what you think if someone can't code yet?

WordPress is OK for SEO if done right. In the beginning you will not have the 1,000 hits per hour+ traffic that is too fast for a CMS in most cases.
Thing is, most n00bs will overload WP with too many plugins that slow WP down too much.
Downside is: WP is a real exploit target and every time I have used it --it has been compromised and become useless. Back up the database often and keep the version updated to the most current version.

Conflicts in plugins is not anything to do with performance. You can get some performance recommendations for WP, but I highly recommend using an add-on that monitors performance.

Look at these options for performance improvements.

• Cloudflare
  
• WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache
• New Relic
