Hello everybody, for the last couple of days I've been researching and looking into SEO.

I currently use Elementor for my landing pages and the whole website just for simplicity, but I'm curious on what people use for their websites, do you use some type of editors like the aforementioned Elementor? Do you use the default built in editor/builder? What sort of plugins do you use for SEO?

There isn't a ton of information on the Editors people use, right now I'm staring at my Elementor screen and I have a feeling it is way too simple to be used for SEO.

Everyone also has their own opinion on the SEO plugins, but a lot seem to be trying to promote their own affiliate links by doing that (no shame in that)

WordPress is the easiest website to hack --did you know that?
I have daily hacking attempts and exploits scanning my domains for WordPress files to exploit.
In fact when it gets too bad I just redirect those file requests to twitter.com ROFLMAO

WordPress has many SEO plugins and they are fine for the back end code and the site file organization. SEO IMO is more a issue of real content --in depth and updated (or added to regularly). Google thinks it is smart enough to know what users want to see --maybe they are and maybe they are not.

When SEO fails buy an ad ...

Elementor plugin is fine..it is among the top plugins used by wordpress developers that is easy and SEO friendly. I used WP Bakery, but have now switched to Elementor since the later has a nice UI.

Do you use the free one?
I started using the free one back in 2017-18, this year I purchased a pro version on one of my sites to check the difference. Apart from few additional blocks or such there is not much quite of a difference. Besides if you are using word press for a long time you will know how to make these blocks yourself out of the free plugins.

Pro Tip: Use Elementor free plugin with Envato Elements (Free plugin) to create a wonderful page design.

Thanks, how'd you deal with the mobile optimization using elementor?

These plugins are responsive, you need not worry about optimization. Just the basic layout checks by going on mobile / tablet / desktop view before publishing will do the job. Let me know in case you need a detailed help regarding this. I am not doing much these days, just taking a break from my monotonous work. Can guide you with some basic stuffs.

I think I'm good for now, but If something arises, I'll PM you. Thanks. :)

Page manufacturers are awful.

They offer no SEO advantage. At last, this WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") web designers will seriously restrict your business development. The HTML markup made by any page manufacturer will consistently be exponentially more enlarged than HTML handmade by a specialist web designer
