Questions about blogs...

I know it is bad to just copy and paste content (sometimes change few words) from other websites to mine and make it my blogs as it may do damage and leave negative impacts to my whole site, so I was trying to avoid this. But I find it hard to maintain a certain update period since I don't always have original content.
I feel very curious about the following questions...

1. Do you only post original blogs? What is the source?
2. How exactly do you keep the blogs of your site updating? What is the frequency?
3. Where do you find trustworthy writers if you are not writing blogs on your own?

I would be really appreciated if anyone could answer these questions for me.

If it is your blog, you should write it yourself as often as possible.

Yet don't complicate it if you don't have the time or wish to do it, then accept a few guest posts now and then to get fresh articles for free. One link will never make them famous after all. You earn more than them.

Thank you. I took the word count as primary since one of the SEO guides I saw online told me to write at least 500 words a blog to optimize the page.

I agree, guest posts is not that bad idea. Also you can buy texts in content market, it may be not personalised and even be published in a hidden area. But still can be good for ranking

It is important to create original content. If you don't have time, you can search for copywriters on forums.
