Posting problems

I've tried a few times to post an introduction to the introduction thread, but I get a popup error message. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something that needs to be done before I can post an introduction thread?

Looking forward to learning more and helping where I can.

I forgot to be honest, something about no permission. I didn't post a link or try to promote anything, just an introduction. Since I was able to post this thread, I guess maybe it was because it was my first post? If I receive the message again I will reply here.

This is a common issue for new members. The forum has restrictions on first posts to prevent spam. Try posting in the newbie helpdesk section first, and make sure your post is at least 20 characters long. Also avoid posting links until you have made 10 posts.
