How to split test my landing page?

Hi guys.

I want to be able to better understand what works on my LP and what doesn't. I'm a bit stuck due to information overload (+ multiple types of affiliate marketing out there) and so I need your help for CPA/CPL mobile offers.

That's why I'm coming here to ask: what other metrics (apart from CTR) should I look towards when analysing or split testing pre-landers for my campaigns?

That's if you can code or pay someone to

• The simplest way is to use 2 or 3 different Landing Pages
• With varied features
• Then send a few thousand hits to each and see which is performing best to your metrics.

As an alternative to what I did you can pay to heat map with a SaaS like Hotjar
The real problem is knowing what you are really looking at.
I had the problem of sorting out and disregarding the bots and crap outdated browsers and os users (that are worthless to me) when i did that -- my CTR tripled.

Garbage in -> garbage out
Who cares what b0ts like I sure as hell don't ...
