I was recently listening to a podcast that interviews
top marketers. Their guest that nite says that he sends
20 million emails a month in the EDU space.

Does anyone know the setup to send mass cold emails like this...?

Is anyone sending this volume of cold or warm emails....?

I would love to learn how to send this type of volume with cold emails....!!!!

Your first problem is finding a list with legal opt-in 3rd-party email permission that will not get you in hot water for spamming.
Who the hell has a legit list to be able to send 20 Million emails a month, with such permissions, for any legit affiliate offer?

It's not that hard to scrape email addresses and email them but it is illegal spam so you cannot use any legitimate ESP (email service provider), with reputation, for long . So, you have to set up you own email server, build the server's SMTP reputation, then start spamming until you get blocked --and you have to start over again.

Or, you can just spam away, shoot your mouth off on some podcast, and attract attention to the illegal stuff you are doing --or, it's just typical internet bullshit maybe.

databases with verified email addresses.

I also have an smtp server sending emails.....
the emails have been warmed....

I was told the key is to send interesting content and keep it short.....with a call to action.....
rotate emails or ips.....

The trick to email marketing is mailing content that people want. Nobody wants to be spammed.

So, this guy probably has a funnel going on, where he's buying data and people are familiar with his brand. The days of buying data and snowshoe spamming are long over, it just doesn't work any more. However, once you've been consistently mailing, you can start introducing "cold" data to your warm list, but you have to start with good data. Otherwise, it's a fast paced cycle to nowhere.

I'm not sure that's difficult. Some people buy them, some people steal them. Buying requires a lot of caution!

The best and safest way is to build your list organically but of course it's going to take quite a bit of time to get massive numbers.

Another route you can take is to buy email advertising from a site owner with a large mailing list. You pay them and they send out an email with a little write up and your info. But you're not going to get 20M signups overnight. And, if by some miracle you do, please come back and tell us about it because that would be very exciting!

Yup, that's pretty mind-boggling but there are people who do it. Thing is, sometimes it's spamming and some countries have strict rules about how you send emails, so you want to do a bit of research before buying or cold emailing a gazillion emails addresses.

Ladies & Gentlemen, here's how:

You need professional email(s) ex. name at yourbusiness dot com or co or org. (Do not use your business domain and email).
Buy domains, the more the better similar as your business domain name.

If your business domain is yourbusiness dot com get domains such as bestyourbusiness dot com, yourbusiness dot co, yourbusiness dot org. Each domain you buy can have from 1 -5 emails, so let's say you bought one domain and with that domain you got as well 5 emails accounts as well.

Every email account will sent 100 max emails (for safety reasons such reputation, warming up, and spam filters and etc).
So 5 email accounts x 100 = 500 emails sent under one domain. So, if you have 10 domains, and each domain has five email accounts, that means you have in total 50 email accounts, so with 50 email accounts you can sent with just of a click of button 5000 emails.

Cold Emailing IS NOT Spamming. And NOT Email Marketing. They are two totaly different things, and btw,
cold emailing is totally legit.

I use allot cold emailing (Direct email) for a long time now, and this how I grow my business, my email list, and getting new customers!
For getting results, keep in mind it will cost you monthly for a start $160+ so you can eventually land new customers after every cold emailing campaign you lunch.

Here is an example (results vary according what niche your in, how good you narrow down your ICP & BP and generally what you are actually selling):

Let's say you sent 10.000 cold emails, from that 10.000, 2.400 people open your email, 204 people reply to your email, and 5% from that 204 people books a call with you on Zoom, that equals with 10 Zoom calls.
