I heard that many companies choose to use media buy to get more traffic for their affiliate programs, I also want to try. Does anyone know if this method works for vaping products? Or do you have any other better idea?
 
Media buying is the process of purchasing advertising space or time across various media channels to reach a target audience. This involves negotiating with media outlets, securing placements, and managing advertising campaigns to achieve specific marketing goals. Media buyers work to optimize ad spend, maximize reach, and ensure ads are placed in relevant contexts to connect with the intended viewers.

Now it is a scalable position. For example, a local shoe store owner may do this by contacting the relevant local print ad space providers, communications channels (radio, tv), and local alternative display options (think air writing, blimps, fairs, etc.), and of course internet, to find a good pattern among them to fit their budget.

Now think of a bigger scaled operation for a statewide enterprise like grocery stores, furniture stores, etc. They simply then hire a media professional. or a media consultant, or a media company to do this on a larger scale.

To ask whether it is an option for the vaping industry, OF COURSE IT IS! Here's the thing, it is "scalable". This means media buying can be done small by a proprietor and/or be done by a large firm with department heads and a board of directors. You first need to isolate and identify your budget, and not for a one time effort. Advertising has loads of options and what you need to do is determine the budget for a "run" of advertising. A proper time period for extended exposure of your products and service being presented to the consumer.

In the CPA, CPL, pop-up, video, social channels, etc., we have long known we first need to find a few sets, or models, of the angles, hooks, triggers, and media combinations that produce results and then scale them up. It's the ad team that does this. Once they have scalable sets, they then turn it over to the media buyer(s) to find the proper channels by testing them and then they scale up the funnels.
