Not necessarily a "orientation to" Firefox, but the aknowledge that Firefox is a piece of software worthy of special attention.

I think it means that Google are skeered as h*ll, regarding MSN's new search. Looks to be some last ditch effort to diss IE, keep their stock afloat, then sell sell sell...
