Google Search is in Trouble Again

"the government sought to show that Alphabet's Google (GOOGL.O) broke antitrust law to maintain its dominance in online search."

Google is on trial in the US (BTW) depending on the outcome mobile SEO/Organic traffic may be changing.

"If Google is found to have broken the law, U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta, who is deciding the case, will then consider how best to resolve it. He may decide simply to order Google to stop practices he has found to be illegal or he may order Google to sell assets."
In the first week of one of the biggest U.S. antitrust trials in decades, James Kolotouros, a Google executive responsible for negotiating the company's agreements with Android device makers and carriers, testified Google pressed Android smartphone makers to have Google as the default search engine and other apps pre-installed on their machines.

"They" didn't put Microsoft out of business but Microsoft lost a lot of the operating system market and the internet 'exploder' browser is gone today ;)

Wouldnt say IE its gone
Edge replaced IE
MS still have commercial hardware deals
when you buy a device
Edge is often the default browser

"In May 2022, according to StatCounter, Microsoft Edge became the second most popular browser in the world, overtaking Apple's Safari (in some countries, such as the United States, Edge is the 3rd most popular, where it has a 14% share, slightly behind Safari's 16% share). As of September 2022, Edge is used by 11% of PCs worldwide."

Edge is Chromium
Chrome is Chromium

Chromium is an open source LINUX browser.

What undisclosed hacks Google and Microsoft have done and not disclosed IDK.

As far as I am concerned, based on previous experiences; Google and Microsoft are just *snakes in the grass* and Apple is the ultimate overpriced, nice design Net Nanny.

If you can manipulate Google to make money
--well there is nothing wrong with that
--same goes for any of the Internet "big three"
--but I rarely buy in to their bullshit and am very cynical of their "services" that will usually disappoint me.
