You should also try push traffic, there are several companies that offer carrier targeting too - megapush, Evadav, same with propellerads as far as I remember. Performance would also depend on the offer ofcourse but surely a thing that you should try

yeah, I was quite surprised by their announcement yesterday. I'm wondering about the real reason of this, 'cause i hear about carrier targeting all the time and a lot of guys wanna do it. Any ideas?

No, no ideas. But I know that we are not going to deactivate it.

I tested mobile carrier targeting the other night -- the results (small sample)

(31/351)*100
8.8319% bots (>looks like forged user agent strings to me
(1-(31/351))*100
91.1681% real
(I have the logs as documentation -- this is one specific network also)

1. sorting may be *claimed* rather resource intensive to sort out just carrier --but this network had no issue doing it
2. maybe, there was not *enough* bot traffic to be profitable?

Anyway, this mobile carrier 3G, 4G traffic is clean ....
