Fastest Way To Test Ads, Landing Pages And Offers Without Burning Money?

Hey Affiliatefix,

I'm quite new to Affiliate Marketing. In the last few days I have been running adult campaigns and while I have had some conversions, I'm still far from being profitable...

For anyone in the adult space, I wanted to get your opinion for what is the best way to test Ads and Landing Pages quickly so you can find something which works?

Currently the strategy I have been following from a super affiliate is only running on 1 GEO and 1 Website and 1 Ad spot to limit variables in the beginning, and then testing 5 different ads towards 2 landing pages and 2 offers

His whole philosophy is to spend money running 3x offer payout on each variable (so basically 20x the offer payout across campaign) and then you will get data which you can use to optimize and find a winning combination which is profitable.

But the problem with this strategy is it is taking VERY long to accumulate meaningful data, because lets say the 5 images I am running only get a CTR of 0.001 (1 click for every thousand impressions)

Which apparently must be normal in Adult since these banners are swiped from affiliates who are doing huge volume right now?

I am spending too much on CPM but not getting enough clicks to my campaign to see meaningful data... and if I run CPC I stop receiving impressions after 2000 because my CTR isn't high enough.

The offer which I am promoting is a Dating SOI $2.2 Payout - But damn with these numbers it's very difficult to make it work.

I'm looking for a way I could test ads faster to find clear high CTR winners so I can get some damn traffic because it seems to be taking forever right now just to get a few clicks

What am I doing wrong... Any ideas?

PS. I am also currently running on Desktop but might switch to mobile since I see wayyy more traffic there.

I don't personally promote adult niches but we have lots of adult network reps and members who promote adult niches here who may have some tips for you. Hopefully, this bump will catch their eye.

Also, have you checked the Adult Marketing forum?

Well you need so sources of traffic that brings fast traffic to be able to test but this in general its slow and it takes you time until you test .Maybe you can find some cheap influencers on instagram and buy some cheap shouts to see how your landing page converts

With my experience, any banner that costs you (per click) more than 5% of the offer payout, is not gonna result in a positive ROI for sure. You might need to work on your banners a little more and not just copy from the porn sites. I'm guessing you're using trafficjunky or something similar but you might also want to try some cheap adult sources first so as to collect more numbers. Also, what's your testing budget if I may know?

Banners have disgusting click-thru rates. I am sure there are exception to the rule?

1. If your graphics (creatives) are better than average;
2. Widen your net -- this will yield more banner exposure if you want data -- this can get expensive as CPM.

That said, I haven't clicked through on a banner as a consumer in a long time. When was the last time you clicked on a banner as a consumer --and not snooping on what your competitors might be doing?
