Hi guys,

I’ve been working on some local SEO projects in service niches and noticed something interesting.

Pages that focus on very specific queries (like pricing per service or detailed problem-based pages) seem to perform better in terms of conversions.

For example, pages explaining things like how much an electrician charges per socket or emergency service costs seem to attract more targeted visitors.

Do you guys also focus on these types of pages, or do you prefer broader service pages?

Would love to hear your experience.
thank you,

Those are typically supplemental pages with details meant to attract higher rankings in the SE's. Sooner or later the SE's algos will recognize them for what they are and begin to lower the rankings. Relying on SEO is always a crap shoot and a moving target.

Building out true content sites with frequently updated and added content is the best long term strategy. While SEO is a valid segment of a true content site, paid traffic, building email lists and regular emailing, will bring far more conversions long term.

Yes, detailed service pages definitely improve conversion in local SEO. They provide specific information that users are searching for, which increases relevance and trust. For example, pages with pricing information, service details, and FAQs help users make decisions faster.

Yes, it is true that detailed service pages may lead to better conversions since they are more relevant to higher intent search queries.
Search queries relating to prices or solution-oriented problems indicate that the user is at an advanced stage in their decision process.
It builds trust among users with transparent content that minimizes uncertainties.
Furthermore, it helps you attract long-tail keywords.
A well-rounded approach would be to combine both detailed and general services pages.
