When you start with affiliate marketing, there’s so much to learn — traffic, conversion, offers, compliance. I’m taking it step by step and focusing on one vertical at a time.

Great approach! Focusing on one vertical at a time is smart. Start with mastering traffic sources first, then move to conversion optimization. Good luck on your journey!

Good approach focusing on one vertical at a time rather than spreading thin. On the compliance side specifically since you mentioned it — the biggest early mistake I see newer affiliates make isn't anything complicated, it's just forgetting to add a clear affiliate disclosure on posts/pages where they're promoting a link. It's a quick fix but gets overlooked constantly and can get accounts flagged or rejected from networks. Worth building the habit early before it becomes a bigger cleanup job later.

That’s the right approach. In affiliate marketing, it’s important to understand what you’re doing, how each step works, and what you’ll need for future growth.

At the same time, you shouldn’t be afraid to make mistakes and test different things. Theory is useful, but it means very little without real practice. You learn much faster when you actually launch, analyze results, and adjust your strategy.
