Cold lead database or live traffic?

Cold lead databases and live traffic are two completely different stories.
With a database, you’re dealing with contacts that have already “sat around” somewhere: some are outdated, some don’t respond, and the conversion rate is always lower because the person may have lost interest or money.

Live traffic, on the other hand, means leads in the moment. The user has just submitted a request, they’re “hot,” responsive, and ready to take action. Such leads are much more willing to engage, convert to deposits faster, and deliver higher LTV.

In short, a database is “yesterday,” while live traffic is “today” — and that’s exactly where the difference in both price and results comes from.

From your experience, which do you find more convenient to work with?

You completely left out the lists we build our selves by SOI and DOI. These are the lists most of us build to promote to as they are the most productive. Well above any expectations of the two options you present. As for fresh traffic leads, that's how we build our lists.

Cold Lead Lists - for spamming.
Fresh Traffic - for list building and immediate conversions.

What's your motivation and intent with this thread? These topics are rudimentary and already asked and answered many hundreds of times in the forums here.

you’re right to point out the key difference here. cold lead databases are often stale — the contacts may have been sitting around too long, which kills responsiveness and drops conversion rates. live traffic, on the other hand, is fresh, intent-driven, and far more likely to engage or convert quickly because the user is in the moment.

that’s why most serious affiliates and advertisers put their budgets into live traffic sources rather than renting or buying old lists. fresh traffic not only gives better short-term roi but also lets you build your own audience for long-term scaling.

we specialize in exactly that — high-quality live traffic across push, pop, redirect, and more, with precise targeting so you can capture users when they’re most ready to act. if you’d like, dm me in private and we can chat about how to put that into action for your campaigns.

Could you please tell me a bit more about SOI and DOI?
I’d really appreciate it)

SOI - Single Opt-In
DOI - Double Opt-In

We drive traffic to our landing pages, pre-sell pages, and the links on that page then go to the conversion page(s). While on the landing page we collect name and email address typically. Sometimes additional data. There are several ways o present the opt-in request but most are either embedded into the lander, or presented as a pop-up when both arriving on the lander or leaving the lander.

Single opt-ins add a new email address to a list immediately after someone submits a form, without requiring an email confirmation.
Double opt-ins require the user clicking a confirmation link in an email to verify their subscription.

I use only DOI these days as large portions of SOI's immediately unsubscribe on the first follow up emails. DOI's are typically solid and serious persons interested in your niche and the value they believe you can bring to them.
