When you have a highly speculative and manipulated situation like Bitcoin --there are no fundamentals to consider.
You are dealing with;

1. The greater fool theory
   • someone will come along and pay more than I did
2. News of the day and perceived financial 'crisis'
   • good news -- bad news; stock prices, inflation, etc.
3. The big bang crash?
   • there are no Bitcoin derivatives to short (that I am aware of (yet))
     in a regulated exchange environment where you won't get outright ripped-off.
