Hello, where do you want to work? It's not clear.
Are you speaking of affiliate teams, media teams, shared funnel teams, or some other team?
When you say it is difficult for solo players, where do you see the difficulty?
I ask because I am a "solo marketer" in a fashion. I say "in a fashion" as most of us solo marketers that establish a stable and growing affiliate business do it by building our own teams, but they are not teams affiliates can join. My teams are my support freelancers for research, copy editing, graphics & media, and backend business management.
There are many affiliate teams of a sort. Most are partnerships and not really teams, but they often do refer to themselves as teams. They are generally made up of highly skilled and advanced marketers and most of them hooked up after knowing one another over extended periods and had built relationships with one another through their various resources in the industry and their track records of success in the industry.
You are a newbie, and a newbie is not typically considered for such partnerships. Newbies have no developed skill sets and typically don't have the budgets that are found among affiliate partnerships.
In my many decades in this business I have seen most newbies give up as they had entered the industry without a plan, found the volume of work too demanding, and were immensely short on necessary budgets.
