I like blog.com and jimdo.com. I use it for my work. They are very easy to use and suitable for many jobs.

I used jimdo for some times. But when I became busy, it was hard to maintain multiple platforms. So I gave up.

No. It is pretty automated to install these days.

You add features to it in a modular fashion and you can create great websites / blogs with no coding skills.
