What is the Legit Way to Get Organic Traffic

Which part of SEO do you prefer to focus on for the Organic Traffic, i am not talking about paid traffic, i want legit way to rank up site and get legit traffic?

• Useful content that is either unique or offers a unique point of view
• Regularly updated content that is spidered and indexed
  
• Voluntarily (seemingly independent) user recommendations and links offered
  
• Carefully seeded paid ads so the site/domain gets noticed <40% bounce rate
• Reasonable time duration on site in relation to the content
• Depth of content -- for keyword and semantical meaning
• User comments and user/buyer testimonials and reviews seem to help
• How, why, when and where; is what people search for around keywords and phrases (if this applies to what you have)

Affiliate sites designed for advertising don't do well these days. So, the above listed items are pretty difficult to do.

You can always find some site ignoring all these rules and getting high in the SERPs -- if it's worth gaming Google all the time you might get lucky doing that too. Until you *crash-and-burn* and need to start all over from square one again.
