Looking for stuff that helps you spot trends in your niche, find a niche (web3 is mine), seo tools, marketing specific tools anything really. Just keen to see what other people use other than semrush.

Appreciate all suggestions!

That really doesn't match your thread title.

Spotting trends is no big secret, simply read, research, and study the niche!

find a niche (web3 is mine)

For the most part, Web3 is still a concept. It is not fully embraced. As a concept it is a model for the replacement of the web as we know it and aimed at presenting an integration of a decentralized network at it's core. I can't see this as a currently viable niche for marketing, but maybe for side projects of development companies.

seo tools, marketing specific tools anything really.

This is a very ambiguous request for a thread. There are many hundreds of tools and thousands of different brands in our industry.

Do you have any marketing experience?

Certainly! Here are some tools and strategies that can help you spot trends, optimize your SEO, and improve your marketing efforts within the web3 niche:
  1. Google Trends: This is a free tool by Google that helps you identify search trends and topics that are currently gaining popularity. It's a great way to stay updated on what's happening in your niche.
  2. Ahrefs: Ahrefs is a comprehensive SEO toolset that can help you with keyword research, competitive analysis, and backlink analysis. It's a valuable resource for improving your SEO strategy.
  3. BuzzSumo: BuzzSumo allows you to discover the most shared content and influencers in your niche. It's useful for content research and finding trends that resonate with your audience.
  4. SEMrush Alternative Features: While you mentioned not using SEMrush, consider exploring other aspects of SEMrush that you might not have used before. They offer various tools beyond traditional SEO, such as social media analytics, content marketing, and advertising insights.
  5. Ubersuggest: Ubersuggest is an SEO tool that provides keyword suggestions, content ideas, and competitive analysis. It's a more budget-friendly alternative to some of the premium tools.
  6. Moz: Moz offers a range of SEO tools, including keyword research, link analysis, and site audits. Their "Whiteboard Friday" video series is also a valuable resource for learning about SEO trends and strategies.
  7. Web3 News and Forums: Stay active in web3-focused communities, forums, and news outlets. Platforms like Reddit, Discord, and Twitter often have niche-specific discussions where you can spot trends and connect with like-minded individuals.
  8. Crypto and Blockchain Analytics Tools: If you're specifically focused on web3, consider tools like Glassnode for blockchain data and analytics, which can provide insights into blockchain trends and activity.
  9. Social Media Listening Tools: Tools like Brandwatch or Mention can help you monitor social media conversations and mentions related to web3. This can be useful for understanding user sentiment and emerging trends.
  10. Email Marketing Tools: Platforms like Mailchimp or ConvertKit can help you with email marketing campaigns to reach your web3 audience effectively.
  11. Content Management Systems (CMS): Depending on your web3 projects, consider using platforms like WordPress, Ghost, or Webflow for website management and content creation.
  12. Blockchain and NFT Platforms: If you're directly involved in NFTs or blockchain projects, explore platforms like OpenSea, Rarible, or Mintable for creating and selling digital assets.
  13. Analytics and Data Visualization Tools: Tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Tableau can help you track user behavior and visualize data to make informed marketing decisions.
  14. Marketing Automation: Platforms like HubSpot or Marketo can streamline your marketing efforts by automating tasks like email marketing, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation.
Remember that the effectiveness of these tools and strategies can vary depending on your specific goals and niche within the web3 space. It's a good idea to experiment with different tools and techniques to find what works best for your unique needs.
