Each forum has it's own rules and you should read them but the basics are:

1. No spamming
2. No swearing
3. No flaming
4. No posting links/pictures of inappropriate things.

There are multitudes of rules for online communities. We have a few different rules for members, additional rules for vendors, and few specialized rules for some of our sub forums.

Equally important are the unspoken rules for members in communities that should be adopted be everyone. Things like be active, the more active one is the more feedback they get. Ask loads of questions for everything you need help with to move your business forward with growth. Always spend time helping others with their needs. Always know that by helping others you are helping yourselves.

Long and short of it all, the written rules are typically preventative measures to ensure the safety and quality of the community is maintained for its members. The unwritten rules are the rules that ensure that everyone benefits form the sharing of information and the successes the members deserve.
