Validated CPL vs ordinary CPL

Hi everyone, just wanted to get the feeling from members here.
We are running validated CPL, where network gets paid when lead is approved. Is it really better to run CPL with a cancellation rate rather than validated CPL campaigns with no cancellations?

I have never understood this point of view from Affiliate side, to spend more time after getting a postback about lead and then get a list where they are cancelled - it just does not makes sense to me

Agree only validated leads only get paid.
