I haven't used YT vids for marketing for many years. At one point I had hundreds of vids in support of my marketing in affiliate training niches. This is going back many years. Back in the "hay day" of marketing courses with Frank Kern and the "Syndicate". Most of the marketers getting in the game over the last 10 years won't know what that is, but it was a group of those that actually shaped the industry in the late 90's through about 2005.

Since then I've developed other forms of funnel for my CPS business and my content marketing business. I've looked at re-introducing video marketing into my funnels and sites. I would like to know your take, your advice, for structuring the addition of video marketing into existing and well established CPA funnels and existing well established content sites. Keep in mind my sites are highly successful and well established in the luxury niches of private air charters and private luxury destinations.

thanks for opening this up — it’s not often you see someone willing to share real-world tube site knowledge.
one thing I’ve always wondered: when it comes to traffic, which sources have proven the most cost-effective and scalable for tube sites? Are you seeing better ROI from paid (pop/push/native) or focusing more on SEO and organic?
any affiliate networks you’d recommend starting with for someone entering the space?

Absolutely – today’s internet is driven by content, and video marketing has massive potential, even outside traditional YouTube strategies. In your case – with well-established CPA funnels in luxury niches – video can be a powerful tool to boost trust, authority, and conversions.

Here’s how I’d approach it:
  • Embed videos on your website – either your own or directly from YouTube (even from other channels, as long as embedding is allowed).
  • Wrap each video with quality SEO content – optimized title, description, tags – to attract organic traffic from Google and YouTube.
  • Create a clean content structure – categories, channels, recommended videos – to guide users naturally toward your main CTA.
  • Place affiliate links, banners, lead capture forms, or your own products around the videos – creating a stream of passive income from traffic while also supporting the sale of your own services or offers.

Since your brand operates in a premium space, I recommend using a professional, clean design that visually matches the luxury feel and avoids the look of a generic tube site.

And most importantly – if you build and grow this properly, your video site could have significant value if you ever decide to sell.

Buyers will look for:
  • Consistent organic traffic
  • Established brand and SEO authority
  • Proven conversion flows
  • Affiliate or product revenue
  • Growth potential

This method can bring you new opportunities for your brand.

I'll speak from my own experience – here’s what consistently works for me when it comes to traffic:
  1. Organic SEO traffic – always my top priority. It takes longer to build, but it’s stable and converts best in the long run.
  2. Link exchanges & partnerships – I look for similar sites and either exchange backlinks or buy strong ones if it makes sense (free is great, but I don’t mind paying if it moves the needle).
  3. Social media – I try to build profiles on as many platforms as possible. I send traffic from social to site and back to social. If the project is niche-specific, I even run ads to grow the community.
  4. Paid traffic – definitely useful. I test small campaigns across different ad networks, analyze the results, and scale what works. Every project converts best on a different platform – so it’s all about testing.

Hope that helps!
