Well, congrats to my American friends who like to bet on the games!

Our sports betting is overseen by the provincial government. Gawd forbid they should miss out on that form of revenue.

What I would like to see is federal licensing, with over-site, of sports books -- with the pay outs 60% to the winners -- the feds taking 25% with the remaining 15% as the licensee's operating margin -- did you see the billions estimated as wagers?

I saw the 4.8 billion in Nevada in 2017. Kinda makes you go, "Wowee!" (very polite way of saying holy s**t!)

Betting is big business, to be sure. Casinos make millions PER DAY. Pretty sure that covers all overhead and leaves a little profit.

I'm in the wrong business.
