Smarty operation, but how?

Yesterday i installed an eSyndicat directory script. The software is excellent, very seo friendly, so i was almost satisfied. I think one of the biggest challange concerning directory promotion is the masking. I mean i always try to hide the directory being of my directory sites. I mostly use rss feeds to add some additional content next to the links in order to achieve more acknowledgement from google. After some hour searching i found a very nice rss parser, called rss_fetcher. As final step all i had to do is to place a php include into a tpl file which is not an easy issue at all. The solution was this code

{include_php file='example.php'}

So i just want to share this smarty related resource with you. If once you will have to edit a smarty template i guess you will find it a great help
