Should I move my content to a new domain?

Hello all,

I have dabbled with website development learning different skills for almost 3 years now. Life gets in the way but the costs are low currently so I am not quitting on it. 2 years ago I grabbed an expired domain and I have been building out content on it slowly. I do not have any keywords ranked in google but I get traffic from Bing, duckduckgo and others (less the 50 views per month). Recently, I tried to make PINS and link to my content but Pinterest has blocked my site for potential SPAM. This is probably the downside to an expiredDomain. I registered a new name similar to the old and Pinterest allowed the connection.

1) Should I move my content to the new domain and start over? or
2) Should I use the new domain to redirect to the old domain?

I appreciate any wisdom you have to share.

Move to the new domain and make a 301 redirect from the old domain to the new so the search engines, and any other traffic, will be redirected.

I agree, 301 redirect will be better for your new domain, it will also avoid Google evaluating the new domain as copying content from the old domain.
