I had forgotten about this as been so busy with two (big pockets) clients and a series of meetings, but have been re indexed and am in 9th.

Ed, I don't see you in the top 10 when doing an ordinary search on google. Although API tools and other web-based tools shows you are in the top 10. I wonder if this raises any concern in the contest. What if the results are not consistent from various places?
But I have just done ordinary search in Google and he is position 9 (see attached screen shot)

Hmmm I am seeing different results, I think I need a UK-based web proxy to check the results.
Maybe even a better question, the winner will be determined from the results on this URL: google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&q=seocontest2008&btnG=Search accessed from the UK I assume. While I am here in the US, I just see something else. Which means I think I need to do some work on my international SEO. Hmmm...

Definitely turned some un-expected corners with foul play such as hacking! after all its only 1000 not u 1,000,000 up for grabs.
