Did you have a prior background in Marketing before starting with Affiliate marketing or did you learn it all by yourself?

I spent a couple of decades in the promotional products industry; spent another few years writing for marketers; learned about affiliate marketing here in the forums, back when AffiliateFix was CPAFix.

Yeah, over 20 years sales and business experience when I got involved with internet marketing in c.2003

Marketing has been an integral part of all my businesses for more than 50 years.

Here is the thing. Most that want to enter this industry have narrow vision. This is an industry that requires eyes, ears, and minds wide open. If you truly embrace that and jump in to the deep end from the beginning, then you will succeed. This has been true in every business venture throughout my life.

I was working in construction for 38 years, depending all the time for the "techy" guy to make my promotion.
Two years ago I made my first basic course in internet marketing, and never stop to learn.
