hey guys, I started out in aff marketing back in 2009, back in the days where it was about blogs and making money from amazon or clickbank products but now things has changed and still continue to change. I haven't been up to date with much but wanted to know are there people still doing this? I realize I don't want to work a 9-5 job all my life, even if this aff marketing isn't residual income or just a one time payment but could exceed the hourly wage I think I would do it as I could live from anywhere and make money.

I feel like now its getting harder. Someone said this on Twitter - "Private offers are your best friend as an affiliate. Nobody can copy cause they can’t even run it." Where and how do I get these offers? Are there such thing as private cpa networks?

What's a good CPA course to get started again and up to date? I know aff marketing isn't dead...

In order to get a private offer you need to have some specialization in that market to make you qualify.

I imagine the 'offer' would seek you out for those reasons.

Well your thread its confuse ,you mean private affiliate offers or private cpa offers ? I think you mean direct affiliTe offers and for this you need to contact the vendor directly

Not a proper way to look at it. What is true is this industry has become more sophisticated and no longer tolerates scammers and fraudsters. Companies in this industry now expect you to treat your affiliate career as a professional business. Do that and they will all help you. Don't do that and they'll either ignore you or ban you.

you are a beginner, a newbie. Any private networks, or private affiliate programs, are only available for seasoned and successful marketers with a track record of producing high quality conversions.

As a newbie, you need to learn the business by starting your new business with the proper tools and proper budget. Do that and you will succeed and establish yourself in the industry.

It keeps getting bigger year after year. Many, many, billions of dollars each year in the U.S. alone. Many times that worldwide!

Hey yes people are still making money with amazon and click bank. I see many small YouTube videos targeting very specific niches and products. Most of these videos are not well done and just take images and reviews from online, cobble it together and post on YouTube. Now you probably wont make a lot off one of these videos but if you keep making a video or two a day it could generate good income in the long run. All you have to do is a little more research to be a better video then them.

For affiliate marketing the overhead is so expensive, we're talking about hosting, email responder, spying tools, funnel/landing page generator, click/tracking, etc all that before even starting a campaign... especially for newbies it could be overwhelming and the courses doesn't give you everything but hides information that's why people keep making more products...

WRONG!!!

Starting an affiliate business is one of the least expensive businesses anywhere in the world to start. For a few thousand dollars a newbie can be earning within a few months, at most, if they stick to a business regimen.

A newbie that actually invests in their business, treats it as a business, is dedicated to business schedule, commits at least a couple hours a day to continuous learning, puts in at least four hours a day in taking action, will make it work and make it grow. EVERY TIME!

The fact is, most newbies believe they can successfully be in the affiliate business by simply spending an hour or two a day, with no investment, and start earning right away. LAME!

My younger brother is a Dr. who spent more than a $400k in education, another $1.5MM buying an existing practice, and I earn more than four times what he earns. I started with less than $3,000.

Starting an affiliate business is NOT expensive in any way.

I guess you're right. Cost of doing business. The more and more I read about the bans of cpa networks, scrub leads, and stealing campaigns from a AM makes me want to get away from these networks and maybe go into cps networks like cb, cj, etc. So many variables when it comes to these things. Its a hit and miss it seems. Uncertainty. That's the thing I'm most scared of. How do you prevent from getting banned? If say I use a tracker like cpvlab or clickmagick, I want to be able to cloak my link not for BH purposes but to not let visitors know its a aff link. But also fraud clicks could happen where you have no control over. I wouldn't want to test it. What's the best practices when it comes to having a long term cpa career? I don't want to end up getting banned for violating TOS. Please help! I haven't signed up to any cpa networks yet...
