When designing, do you prefer a lighter theme or a darker one? Why?
For me, I like designing light elements as there easier to modify and create something elegant. Not to say it's not possible with a darker scale, it's just harder to create something that goes.
I like lighter themes more. Although I have seen a few themes that are dark and I think 'WOW' Overall themes are good no matter what the colour scheme as long as they are made decent.
I usually prefer using both to my advantage. Basically I use a lighter background and tables, while the header and rows are darker. The mix out of light grey and dark blue suits forums for some reason.
