Have you tried making your website by writing articles then posting backlinks pointing to your website, its great try it, you not only get traffic but you also get targeted traffic.
Another way you can use to get traffic is by social newtworking websites such as facebook, twitter, and my space, they are really powerful traffic tools and you don't get to pay diddly squat.

Hi mexia. I've just started to promote a product about two months ago. I wrote a few blog articles and post them on EzineArticles, HubPages, GoArticles, and Squidoo. I then backlink like heck. I've have a couple articles that have made front page of Google. What you must do is choose a few keywords that are related and relevant to what you are promoting. I like to have 3 to 5% density of my keywords in my articles. The SEO picks them up better that way. Give it a try and good luck.
