A simple collection of data. No matter where they are recorded. Even in a simple paper it still
be a data collection or databased.

Hi Willian, Welcome to the forum

You certainly don't need to be a coding genius to build an email list, there's oodles of stuff out there to simplify things.

My first question must be, what niche are you aiming at?

Simple :D
Collecting email from websites is talked about a lot ...

Basically, you will need;
  1. a reason to opt-in (a sales [funnel] strategy/tactic) -- acquisition front-end
  2. a form POST (usually PHP [can be many web interfaces]) -- back-end
  3. and an automated list in either some relational database (MySQL or ...) a flat file on the server (less than 10K lines) -- back-end some front-end Thank you
  4. some recorded proof on the client opt-in FORM POST (Submission) email address, date, time, IP address -- back-end
  5. added proof of a DOI (email address verification) -- back-end possibly some front-end Thank you (response on success)
If you want to develop a email list that is not spam that can be emailed legally.

If you want to build an email database and you do not know how to do it then you have to pay someone to do it for you because that is what software engieers and web developers do after they graduate. Just go to ay freelancer website with a good repuation and post the work details and at a reasonable price.

This is really good advice
You should pay careful attention to point 1
You MUST give users a good enough REASON to opt in
So offer something they can't get anywhere else
Also as @Graybeard pointed out make sure your process is technically perfect
Any deviations from technical perfection will result in sign up abandonment
Another thing is
Look at your competitors and sign up to their lists
But record the entire process with process lists and screenshots
It can be done - but it has to be done properly
Also follow the applicable regs
Make sure you are not breaking any laws

Just remember you can start building a free email list in the Forex niche today
But are you an expert in Forex? Have you traded it yourself?

In other news: I fixed my mail server's deliverability issue.
really dumb thing I did
The mailing domains (sender domain) had a correct SPF and DKIM, --however!
  • I neglected to DKIM the mailserver's domain for SMTP
--that was the issue --my bad
I like using my own mail server for security reasons.
  • I would add --use a good 2 way encryption for email addresses that are stored
  • email breaches can ruin you business reputation
  • and in some cases --result in government fines.
