Has AI actually increased your blog revenue, or just your publishing speed?

AI has made it much easier to publish content faster, but has it actually increased your blog's revenue? Or has it only improved your workflow?

For me the biggest change has been in testing ideas faster. I can create drafts, update old posts, analyze competitors, and try different angles without spending days on each task. But the revenue increase only came when I started using AI to improve the strategy behind the content, not just produce more articles. I’ve seen a lot of AI blogs pumping out hundreds of posts and getting almost no traffic because there’s no real experience or value behind them. The winners seem to be using AI as an assistant, not as a replacement for the whole process. It saves time, but the money still comes from knowing what to publish and why.

you are right. publishing faster doesn't automatically mean earning more. strategy, search intent and real value are what turn content into traffic and revenue. AI is a great productivity tool, but it still needs human direction to deliver meaningful results

The biggest upside is not publishing more, but maintaining the entire content system at a level that would be too expensive manually. A connected agent can continuously detect outdated claims, broken links, cannibalization, missing internal links, weak content clusters, declining pages, inconsistent product data and even pages where search intent has shifted. It can also trigger site-wide updates when prices, regulations, features or brand names change, then prioritize edits by traffic and revenue impact. That is where AI can increase revenue: not by creating another 100 articles, but by keeping thousands of existing pages accurate, connected and commercially effective

That is mostly accurate, however a site does require additional new content in each of its topic/subject areas and pages to keep increasing the authority value of the site and the domain. Authority is a major key value for a site and its domain. Until the SEs stop penalizing for using AI generated content, a human needs to be writing the content in a native language.
