Good wiki software

Hey guys I'm looking for a recommendation for some wiki software for a new project I'm working on. I want something that works well but is fairly simple and straightforward and would be easy to customise for my needs. The intention is to integrate it with a site we're going to build that will have several non-wiki sections and its own database.

There's a lot of choice when it comes to this kind of software so I'm hoping someone who has had a good experience with one of them can recommend something.

Any thoughts?

Check out "tiki wiki" (dunno if I'm allowed to place a link to it. am I?) It's a free wikipedia type script for having your own pedia site. I assume that's what you are looking for?
