I published a brand new site on a brand new domain late on Tuesday night. Early Thursday morning, I set about doing some last minute research before setting about my SEO task.
To my surprise, the 4 primary search terms returned this new site in the top 10.
This site has not been submitted to any Directories or S/Es and there are no incoming links at all. In fact only the client and myself know of its existence.
The only thing I can think is that the Google Toolbar reported back home when I checked the site out after uploading.
Unfortunately, the site was so new that I had not yet configured the server logs so I can't be sure exactly when Googlebot dropped by and indexed ALL 8 pages.
