So the thing with email marketing is that you need to know who you are going to market to. Cold emailing is a thing of the past and considered spamming these days. You need to build your lists by engaging in other forms of marketing that help you build your lists. You can build lists by collecting emails on landing pages, or on content sites, etc.

Take the time to read through the forums and think about a marketing type that you can get started with. Then, be sure to collect permission based emails with your landing pages or websites.
