Still sitting on P4 3Ghz Prescott on both of my machines. Most likely will upgrade to dual core in the near future.
Always loved Intel...

Most likely it's a regular single processor computer but thanks to the hyper threading technology in properties it will show up as 2 processors.

Unless of cource you actually have 2 CPUs installed...

Try to right-click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop and than click "properties" - see what its going to show...

The laptop I am on at the moment has a 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo I believe. The computer in the office has a 3Ghz Pentium 4 and the one upstairs which is currently not in use has a 2GHz (ish) Sempron in it.

macbook pro 2.06ghz dual core
desktop pentium 4 3.06ghz - its oooold and sloow! I want to replace the processor, might as well do the mobo while I'm at it - then the only original thing about my desktop will be the case!
