Hello everybody,

Okay, I’ve decided to venture into Affiliate Marketing. I’ve been reading up on it for a while now, including discussions and tutorials on this forum.

Of course, there’s still the uncertainty that comes with any business risk: investing a lot of time and some money for an uncertain outcome. But, as you often say, the secret is stamina!

That said, even before getting started, one of the least pleasant feelings is seeing the publisher as the weakest link in the system. Let me explain: Google changes its algorithm; again, big G is monopolizing clicks with its "Overview" that would otherwise go to affiliate sites; Amazon can lower commission rates whenever it wants, etc.

All these external variables imposed by others don't give me peace of mind..

Still, I’m giving it a shot! I’ve chosen my niche, and I plan to join major generalist affiliate networks — first and foremost, Amazon and eBay.

I'm from Bella Italia, and I'm using AI to help me express myself better in English.

None of us focus on this. We just research and draw conclusions upon which to make good decisions. No one is 100% successful with all campaigns and ventures. Taking action means building a funnel plan, testing various versions on them, and expanding and scaling the funnels and campaigns that work or show promise.

Stay with it, develop your rhythms, keep implementing relentlessly. That produces ongoing growth and scale!

It's true that companies can change their policies and other things that may affect what you're doing but that's inevitable - think Google's long list of changes - so it's good to be resilient and able to pivot when necessary. Even affiliate networks can pause or stop an offer that you're running.

Re the risk, you will lose money initially. Everybody does as they learn and for testing campaigns and buy ads. But it's an investment and provides important learning opportunities as you grow your skills and business. You'll have other expenses too. Why? Because it's a business. :)

Don't forget though, that we are here to help you all we can. When you run a campaign, members can help you as you go if you create a follow-along journey. Personally, I highly recommend it. We have some very seasoned marketers here who are willing to share their advice and expertise.

You could also check out the Newbie Helpdesk, if you haven't already.

Anyway, very best of luck on your new venture and enjoy the journey!

Well you have right and i think in the end you should go with your own product

Firstly why to get just half of the sale when you can have all the sale

Plus you dont have control if the vendor decide to take the offer off etc

Just that in the beginning its not so easy to create a good and quality product

So going with someone else product brings less headache than creating the product ,refunds etc

But i totaly think you should move to your own product
